Feb 2, 2021 – Update on Services This Week

I wanted to have a quick family update. Thank you for walking so well together during this crazy season. As we continue to navigate through these challenges, it is a top priority to operate in grace, clarity, and transparency.
With that heart, I wanted to let you know that we had another staff member test positive for covid today. They were not in service on Sunday so no one was exposed at church on Sunday as a result. In addition, another member of our staff also found out of potential exposure (not church-related) this week. With this in mind, we believe it would be the safest practice for our entire ministry staff to pull back and make sure that there are no others with the virus before gathering in person as a church family.
After consulting with Deacon leadership, out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to pause all Wednesday Night Activities for this week and also will move to an ONLINE SERVICE ONLY for this coming Sunday, February 7th. I heard there might be snow in the forecast, so maybe we can call it a snow day :).
We will gather online together Sunday for one service, at 10am, and are so grateful for the blessing of being able to gather this way. We plan to be back to our regular service schedule the following week. Our Starting Points Meal will be rescheduled soon.
Sunday School classes may choose to meet via zoom other digital means at their discretion, but will be paused onsite this week.
