- Did Pharaoh listen to God’s command?
Answer: No, Pharaoh was stubborn and refused to listen to God.
- What happened when Pharaoh refused to obey?
Answer: Pharaoh’s hard heart caused the Egyptians to suffer, but God’s people were delivered. These plagues showed both of the people of Israel and Egypt that he alone is God.
- What did the Israelites do to keep themselves safe from the last plague?
Answer: God told his people to cover the door posts with the blood of a spotless lamb. When they did, God kept their firstborn sons safe from death. Jesus’ blood keeps anyone who trusts in him safe from the death sin brings. Jesus is the Passover Lamb, who takes away the sin of the world.
