We Are To Tell Others About Jesus

1. Why does God command Christians to tell others about Jesus?
We tell others about Jesus so they will hear and believe the good news. We are called to the same mission as Peter and the early apostles. If we have heard the good news and believed, we are given the joy of sharing the gospel with people we know. The Holy Spirit changes our hearts so that we want others to be saved from their sin and have eternal life.
2. How does sharing the gospel show we love God and people?
Jesus said if we love Him, we will obey His commands. Our love for God should increase our desire to help others know Him because we have experienced His grace in our own lives. We love people when we desire that they be saved from their sin and know the life Jesus gives.
